This ReadMe file contains the correct procedure for installing and running NecroVisioN on your machine.
2. Installation
==================================
If your computer has an activated auto-run function, your computer will automatically install the game, once you insert the original CD disc into your CDROM/DVD-ROM drive.
If your computer does not have the above function, please use Windows Explorer to view the CD's contents and then double click on the ,Setup.exe" icon shown in the root directory.
Follow the on-screen prompts, the game will be installed and will ask you if you wish to install the latest version of DirectX. If you agree, the program will only update your version of DirectX if it is already on your computer.
Depending on your system, the computer may ask to reboot in order to activate the game's configuration.
The default installation directory is "C:\Program Files\1C Publishing EU\NecroVisioN". If you want,
you can override these settings and select a different target folder.
After the game is installed, you can choose if you want to play DirectX 9 version (Windows XP or Vista) or DirectX 10 version (Vista only), by choosing "NecroVisioN" or "NecroVisioN DX 10" icon in the Start menu or on the desktop

Computer model (CPU, CDROM, RAM, Video/Sound card, DirectX version, Windows version)
In order to get this information, please go to "Run" in your Windows Start menu and type "dxdiag"
in the command line then press the enter key., The DirectX diagnostic program will start.
This will show all the relevant driver files installed on your system. In order to receive a text file of
this information, please click the button "Save All Information."
You can then save a text file with all the information we require on your hard drive. You will then
be able to send this information to us via e-mail.
